Dr. Mariya Rozov is a general dentist and medical director of Elegant Dental Arts in Freehold, NJ. Her practice focuses on implantology and general and cosmetic dental treatments. Dr. Rozov is committed to providing high-quality compassionate general and aesthetic dental care in a warm and friendly atmosphere. She brought beautiful smiles to patients throughout the Tri-State region.
Dr. Rozov has extensive training which culminated in a DDS degree from the New York University School of Dentistry. She completed her studies, graduating in the top ten of her class with Omicron Kappa Upsilon. In addition, she was selected for extra training in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program, an exclusive Honors program open to the top ten students.
Upon completing her studies, she undertook extensive residency training at Wyckoff Hospital and worked at private practices. As a result, Dr. Rozov is highly proficient in all areas of general dentistry. She has been consistently recognized by her peers for her excellent bedside manner.
Dr. Rozov is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. In addition, Dr. Rozov stays abreast of the latest developments in dentistry by participating in continuing education/skill enhancement courses.
Born in Kazakhstan, her academic journey began with receiving a Presidential Grant from the Republic of Kazakhstan for being one of the top students in the country. The grant enabled her to study medicine at the People's Friendship University of Russia, in Moscow, Russia. After she moved to the United States, Dr. Rozov continued her education at Pace University, NY, where she earned Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. She completed undergraduate studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Dean's List First Honors. Prior to deciding to focus on dentistry, Dr. Rozov worked in research and reproductive medicine. As a researcher, she worked on projects commissioned by U.S. Army and NASA, while her work in reproductive medicine involved reconducting preimplantation genetic diagnosis and embryo biopsy processing.
Dr. Rozov is married to her husband Alexander and has a beautiful baby girl, Eleanor. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, kayaking, and hiking.
